Educated enthusiastic and experienced Principal of 5th VEDA-The Institute of Art & Culture, Prem Rajput had been the man of principles, right from the beginning of his career as a Theatre artist, after completing his post graduation Course of Mass Communication. At the same time he had been teaching Maths and Science in various Schools in Mumbai. The story of his struggle, survival and ultimate success, is enough to inspire the youngsters of Gen. Next. To make his both ends meet, he had been doing, a lot of hardwork, fieldwork, homework and even overwork. He has always been sincere to his efforts, honest in dealing and above all unshakable as for as his principles of his life are concerned.
The real journey of his life started from the Capital of India, Delhi, where he joined Hastakshar Theatre Group, under the guidance of -shekhar, with the capital desire of becoming an All Round Artist. He was able to bag the applauds from his audience, by his praiseworthy performance in plays like Akhri Sawal, Chehre, Kumar Swami, Maut Kyon Raat Bhar Nahin Aati, Lehron Ke Rajhans and Ashad Ka Ek Din etc.
Being energetic and passionate by nature, Prem Rajput, then shiffted to the City of Dreams, to turn his dream of doing something Big in Bollywood, into reality. To start with he also started to direct Stage Plays, besides acting. Andhayug, Adhe Adhoore and Damman Chakra were highly appreciated by the press and the public.
Then he moved to the higher step of the ladder of his progress. He started to write plays apart from directing and, acting in them. For example he presented Taandav, Sanskar, The Baby Sister, Uddhar Samvad, Kans Vadh and Jagannath, in the triple capacity of actor, writer and director.
This multi genius went on with his multiple activities in Show Biz. Apart from working as an Assistant to Bollywood
writers and directors in their different Hindi movies, he has the distinction of working for 12 years with ISKCON Theatre as Drama director. This made him full of confidence and conviction. He has also scripted ‘Srhi Krishna Leel’ which was produced in Tamil and Malyalayam both.
Then he started to write dialogue for Hindi TV Serials, like Sanjog, Bulbul, Laloo and many others. He has also directed few serials for DD, including Kadambari and Gramadhar. He had also associated Mr. G.V. Iyer for films Shri Krishna Leela, Swami Ram Krishna and Journey Of Joy etc. There are many well known and established actors and actresses, whom he had been teaching the Art and style of acting.
Being an established writer, Prem Rajput is obviously, a regular member of Cine Writers Association. As a producer, he has already, got his banner Shubham Cinema with Western India Film Producers Association. He is very grateful to his Uncle Prof. Gaurishankar Singh and his brothers Mr. Narinder Bahadur Singh and Mr. Amar Bahadur Singh, who have helped and supported him during all these years of struggle to success. Now his own daughter Ms. Shweta Singh is an Anchor and Correspondent in Focus News Channel.
Now, he is fully devoted to make 5th VEDA-The Institute of Art & Culture, a State-of-Art-Institute. In the Advanced Acting Course of Insitute, apart from acting, the students are also trained in Martial Art, horse Riding, Yoga, Swimming, Driving and Dancing. The other Wings of 5th Veda include Bollywood dances (Western, Indian, Folk and Classical), One Year Diploma Course in Mass Communication, Three Year Bachelor Course in Mass Media, all under one roof. Under the Govt of India, they have two Years Degree Course in Acting, with 25 seats, of which 5 seats have been reserved for Talented-poor students. The Principal has a very soft corner for talented-poor artist, for whom he himself has created a Trust Shubham Trust. For upcountry students Hostel Facilities are being provided.
